When I first saw this a few days ago it was a little smaller and I thought it was some old super glue where I had removed a coral a good while back. Part that got my attention was that it had a yellow green fluorescence. (under Ecotech SB+ default daytime spectrum).

Now though it appears that it is something....alive... and I'm not sure what it is. Help please and is it good or bad?

What coral did you remove from that spot. Could be you didn’t get all of it and it’s growing back.

could you get a pic with whites on

it was an acan about three inches across and was just glued on the stony part...

do your scans look like that?

I assume you mean acans, and no they do not.

there is a tube like tentacle on the right with a brush like portion on the end. its sways in the current. The part to the left looks like a small mushroom or anemone or something like that. The two appear to be together but also has characteristics like two different critters...…..

Yes I did.

Looks like a little mushroom. My yuma started budding a couple babies around it, and they look bubbly/tentacles like that

maybe, but if you look in the first two pics in my first post, they are hard to see, but there are two baby mushrooms in and on the top side of the round cup looking thing. There is a third that is covered up by the extended momma shroom. I have seen them when they were really tiny and they did not appear to have the tube like tentacle portion...

Not saying that it is not a baby shroom, just having my doubts because of the tentacle part.

pretty positive that's a new baby mushroom

Looks like a new coral or mushroom. Whatever was there is probably regrowing. That's my opinion.
