emptying my protein skimmer today and noticed this worm...its crawling on glass and is pretty fast

your welcome. However, if you do see it again, i'd get rid of it. Not urgent though. If they spawn, and more appear, then it might become a problem, and i would post a question on it if it happens to get advice.
