Just had wood floors done in about 20% of my house. One of the rooms had my smaller tank. My main tank was way on the other side of house. Apparently the glue fumes caused a bacterial bloom I'm still fighting. From what another member told me the polyurethane in the glue fumes acts like carbon dosing. Sure enough both my tanks have gone from PO4 of around 0.03 to zero and worse, Nitrates from 5-7 to 0.
Now my main tank I was doing with dino-x and not sure if that effects the phosphates and the Nitrates.

I plan on stopping the dino-x tomorrow after dose 5 with a 25% water change and carbon. Other members have scared me about using it and my SPS polyps look bad.

My question is what should I do to get the phosphates and Nitrates back up. Stump remover,, reef roids, over feed??

Still have a little cloudiness in tank from bloom.
