Works on snail shells

I’ve noticed these worms on a couple of snails but this is the first time i’ve seen the red part in the front, if you shine a light on it it retracts in. Is this something that is bad?

I believe it is nerite snail, it is the very cheap one that cost $0.50. And thank you haha

Looks like a tiny feather duster to me, so I'd guess it's a harmless filter feeder.

I think I have some of those on my liverock but didn’t realize they were alive… it kinda looks like a tiny feather duster but I have no clue

Yes I have similar shaped, never thought to examine them for pests/hitchhiker's, thank you. hopefully it's a good addition for you
