Hi all, I just recieved a package of rock I ordered off Amazon for some rock. I was wondering if anyone else had ordered it. It seems to be close or identicle to the reef saver rock at brs. It was only a buck a pound as I recieved 4o lbs for 50 dollars or so including my tax. I was wondering if anyone else had ordered this rock? I am seeking a cheap source for aragonite sand, maybe sugarfine. I want to use a small particle size. Here is a link to this rock: https://www.amazon.com/Worldwide-Im...TF8&qid=1519911610&sr=8-1&keywords=coral+rock

I ordered the same rock, check out my thread below. It was great rock, it does not leach phosphates. It comes from the same place as Marco rock, i talked to the owners. It also comes out of a fresh water res. that was saltwater long long ago. Great rock and a STEAL!

I wish I could get pukani rock this cheap.

I don’t. You have to cure it

have you tried breaking up any of this rock how difficult is it? I am going to piece together an open bridgework aquascape. I need smaller pieces to do this.

You have to use a hammer for sure . It’s strong but can break

build is going to be 75 and 40 breeder dts connected to a 55 gallon sump tank. I want to connect all tanks into one system. I may add my 40 breeder later instead of doing it all at the same time. I want the 40 to keep bubble tip anemones and keep them away from corals. Its been awhile since I have been in the hobby but I am slowly getting everything together. The biggest thing I have to think about is designing an ats that will be easy to clean that I can fit in with the 55 gal sump.

I've used it. It's not pretty by any means but it gets the job done with minimal leaching. Can't pass up the price
