Got home today and there are hundreds of copepods all over the glass and sprinting around the rocks so I was excited! I sat down to watch for a while. My wife came home and she went to look and said Oh my Goodness, come look at this worm! So I did...what the heck is it? The different color head is weird!

Looks like a common bristleworm to me. Great detrivore!
Polychaete Annelid Identification, or “You Can Always Tell A Bristle ...

A few people will panic and tell you they eat corals and fish, etc and you must remove them. This is only applicable to a very select few of them and they are identifiable as the red longitudinal striping is very pronounced and with the white bristles, almost looks like an untwisted candy cane.

Thanks. We have a bristle worm in our nano but it's a solid brownish color. The coloration on this one made me afraid it was something different. I always start on Lionfish Lair's Hitchhiker guide before I post and saw nothing like it. This guy is about an inch and a half long.

Check out that link I gave you, there is an example of one of the predatory worms; The color pattern is very distinct.
