Using Tank Transfer QT method. Used Prazi and female Flame stopped eating and has been on her side 2 days now. This appears to be coming out. She's not breathing heavy but won't swim or eat.

Leave her or try to pull it? Ideas?

Thank you!

Was she eating before the Prazipro? The best thing you can do is try some Metroplex. Since she's not eating it will have to be dosed into the QT tank. If you think you can get her eat, mix it in her food and use focus to bind it the food . You want the meds to get into the gut where the parasites are at. You can also try some Entice or garlic to try and get her to eat.

Agreed. The white stringy poop is indicitive of intestinal worms. Metroplex is the best way to treat that, though feeding is ideal. dose it in the tank and hope he gets enough in his gut to help. Is he moving around at all?

She's just laying, she won't swim or eat =/ She was eating b4 prazi.

So prazi may not have killed it? pulling won't help?

can i dose or does she need to eat? seachem website makes it sounds like i need to mix in food

If she's not eating you can dose the water and hope she gets enough to help. It's one scoop for every 10 gallons every 48 hours.

If she perks up and you think you can get her to eat it, you can mix 1 scoop of metro with 1 scoop of focus and a tablespoon of food and feed it to her. Only small amounts at a time until she is full, at least twice a day. It's ok to do this even if you've already begun treating the water.
