Worm coming out of cerith snail shell?

Anyone know? It has two long antennas and sometimes extends out.
Sorry for the poor quality, it’s tough to catch on my camera.

No, but they do put out a mucous net that can irritate corals. Since it’s in the shell I’d remove and toss.

They have two antennae that stick out, but are tiny from what I have witnessed. Spionids...never seen one before, can't reply on that one.

is there a natural predator? I don't particularly like killing things, even a snail, if I don't have to.

Butterfly’s have been known to eat them but they potentially create another problem.

They are harmless if that's what it is. Have read coral banded shrimps maybe, or maybe a wrasse.

I have a yellow coris wrasse in quarantine, I will let this snail live

Wrasse might just eat the whole snail.

It's a spinoid worm. I think it's odd for it to be hanging out with a cerith snail. And no it's not a dangerous worm.

There are predatory spinoid worms. we just don't usually get them in our aquariums as they are deeper in the waters.
