Worm/critter ID?

I saw this worm looking creature in my sand when my lights were off. I’ve never seen anything like it before. It was grey and had a little shimmer to it. Maybe a peanut worm now that I Google more photos.

I want to pull it out so bad but I’m so afraid of how big it’s going to be and what the entire body looks like! Ugh.
