Worm, feather duster?

Anyone know what this is? And should I be sure to remove it ASAP?

Looks like a tube worm to me. I cant see the base so its hard to tell.

That's a feather duster. Harmless filter feeder and fun to watch. Some of them stay really small, but that looks like one of the ones that can get pretty good sized. At some point you may want to break it off the frag and bury most of it in the substrate with just the end exposed. Just wait until it gets bigger and is hanging off. It may even snap off on its own.
