Hey all,

I need some help with an ID on this worm. I just saw it in the glass of one of my tanks and I was able to grab a shirt video.

I am having a hard time matching it to something. Thanks!

Kinda hard to tell from the video but it looks like it is a Dorvilleidae worm.
Thank you. I have found these online before and felt that they could be Dorvilleidae. They seem to be ok?

Not the biggest fan of them, would a bristle worm trap catch them? Or would a six line wrasse eat them?

I read on one thread someone’s clowns were eating them, but mine only really go after pods if anything besides what I drop in.

I honestly can’t say about the bristleworm trap or the wrasse. I believe they mostly eat algae which would make it really hard to bait them into the trap. I used to have them in my tank but I would only rarely see them and they were never an issue.

I will say that I used to have a bunch of bristleworms in my tank but after getting a melanarus wrasse I no longer see them out in the open, although I still have them in my tank.
