@Wiz @Lionfish Lair
We saw one of these recently ,no?

When you click the link hit infolinks and then hitchhikers and then worms

My guess would be a Dorvilleidae . It's not a Phyllodocidae, as they have tentacular cirri and the worm above does not.

, tentacular cirri....... you made that up didn't you? ;) I will defer to lionfish Lair as she has taught me most of what I know

I will also say that is either the largest
Dorvilleidae I have seen or a fantastic picture. Could be both

Lol! I wish I was at my PC, as I would love to draw some arrows. The tentacular cirri kind of looks like hair around the neck. Dorvilleidae don't have this. They have the 2 antennae and 2 palps and then they have a space of "nothing-ness".

Now, it could still be something other than a Dorvilleidae.

You can see if Chucks picture it has a lot of "neck hair" right behind the "head".

The Dorvilleidae has a nice clean shaven neck....

And here's a picture of a Dorvilleidae to compare....

Photo belongs to Leslie Harris. They are a worm expert, I am a worm guesser.

If i may, I think those who are truly interested won't mind. But those who are browsing or trying for a quick Id would be less likely to click. Just my opinion.

I been sitting today at my tank for few hours but didn't cache more off these because i have seen one pretty big guy 3-4cm just wondering how they look when they are a bit bigger
