My son found this crawling around the live rock tonight. It was about 1" long when fully extended. I chopped him in half when I grabbed him with forceps (retrieved both halves).

The appendages on his head were stretching out like feelers. I'm hoping this isn't a bobbit.

Not a spaghetti or Eunicid but is a phyllodocidae which are errant worms often brilliant green or yellow . Most of them live in crevices and under stones. They can be active predators of other small worms in the tank. The phyllodocids are common shallow-water polychaetes commonly associated with hard substrates and corals rather than mud and sand.

It doesn't look as tentacly (I'm pretty sure that isn't actually a word) as most spaghetti worms I've seem but I don't know that I've seen one or a picture of one out of the water. So I agree with @Mibu question. Does it have a set of jaws that look like they'd be used to grab fish? I really don't think it's a bobbit.

I'll hijack my own thread. This guy was making nightly appearances, then stopped. I think he's about 8" or so. I asked my wife and son if we should try to catch it, but they both like it.

Its
Population and growth will be determined with the amount of left over food available .
Control their length , and numbers by being mindful what’s being fed and if it’s being eaten or wasted .
