Worm ID

I recently spotted some kind of worm on my rock. Its not a bristle worm, it has a smooth skin, almost looks like a vermetid snail tube when its not moving but wayyy longer. It was attached to a rock on one end and the other end was pushing and retracting through the sand, almost like a caterpillar it was really weird.

I will try to snag a picture, but anyone has an idea of what it might be?

A spaghetti worm? If so a good guy.

I’ll toss in the possibility of a peanut worm too (though a pic would go a long way toward an ID).

I looked it up and it definetly looks more like a peanut worm than a spaghetti worm.
