If its really 5 inches long then perhaps it has outstayed its welcome. But fear not. You'll have plenty more of them in there. I allow them to grow until they're girthy enough for me to catch with my long tongs when the tank is dark. Get a torch, set your alarm for 2am and happy hunting.I need help, I got this 5 inch long worm coming out when my light turns off. I want to know if it’s harmful to my tank or is fine. I honestly think it’s disgusting but don’t want to get rid of it if it’s good for my tank.
