Can anyone ID this? I just found it in my chaeto when I trimmed it today. Only had the chaeto and my tank for just over 2 months but the chaeto was full of feather dusters and a medusa worm when I got it. Is this a medusa? It looks fairly different and was fairly thick and 2 inches long or so. Also it appeared to be dead and some of me chaeto was melting (wondering if it's got something to do with the light on it)

Also, does anyone know why this worm would be dead? I'm wondering if I'm battling nutrient issues in this tank. I've never seen this worm in the display tank, just found it in the aio sump chaeto chamber

I had a peanut worm on my rock, but it was wayyyy smaller. Are you sure this is a peanut worm? It was literally the length of my pinky finger and about half the width. The photo makes it look smaller.

Actually never mind, I think you are right. I googled peanut worm, and they are much bigger than I thought. Is this a good hitchhiker or bad? Either way, its gone now lol

Safe and best in sump on my behalf
