I found this worm inside of one of my brain corals and was wondering if it was cause for concern. The coral hasn't been opening lately and I could see what looked like a little decay so I dug in a little and found this worm wiggling around. I soaked the coral in an iodine mix but plan to go get some Bayer tomorrow. Here is a picture of the worm:

Kind of looks like a standard bristle worm from the picture....they eat decaying matter....might have been having dinner on rotting coral flesh when you found him...however I am no expert on the ID

So the coral not doing well is not a cause of the worm the worm is just there because it is not doing well?
