Worm in sump

Caught this critter in my sump this morning. I've seen it - or it's sister - in the sump before, but it was always faster than me.

The worm is about 3 1/2 to 4" long and maybe 1/4" wide.

Photos are taken by my cell and cheapie $10 digital microscope. The video was also taken by the microscope.

I agree that it does look similar to a bristle worm, but I haven't seen a picture of one that has the 'appendages' behind the head.

I have lots of small bristle worms in the tank and sump and leave them be for the reasons that you mention.

Okay, I checked your site and it's a "watch them" I think that it will go back into the sump.
