Worm like hitch hiker? 3 groups of them

10 week old tank, going thru diatom bloom. Have 3 spots of these worm looking things protruding in colony of 10ish. They look pink/white, blowing in the current slightly. 2nd pic had me thinking sponges but they're made of string like strands, very orange

Iirc those just dissappear eventually and are not negative/harmful?

True of some, but colonial hydroids are the plague...

If it were my tank, I'd take out the rock and either chisel off the part with the hydroids or smother them in kalk paste.

Might have to do Kalk paste since I can't remove the rocks
