It is hard to tell with the lighting but it looks like it may be a vermatid snail.
And welcome to the forum!

Thank you for the welcome.. and the reply and I’m sure your right any tips on extraction and how diligent I should be on this?

I would definitely get rid of it, they're not good guys. If you can get to the base of it easily you can scrape it off, if it's not easy to get to you can super glue the hole shut to kill it

Is that a hard shell or something soft? If it's hard, scrape it off at the base as deep as you can go and fill the hole with superglue. Vermetid snails send out web like feeding strands that can bother corals. Touch it with something besides your fingers though. It could be a bristle or fire worm which can be painful if touched.

And Welcome to R2R ! !

Vermetid snails for sure. They're not entirely bad. As long as the tank isnt overfed their numbers usually tend to self regulate.

Thanks for the reply’s guys. I can cut feeding down big time I only have a royal gramma and a fire shrimp other than around 12 corals of various species.. I’ll cut feeding down for awhile.. should I attempt manual removal or wait it out for a bit?? @Crabs McJones @Fudsey

If they arent causing any issues such as receding corals or anything like that, I wouldnt be concerned at all :)

Alright cool.. yea corals are super stoked I feed coral very sparingly (maybe once a week, the night before water changes) and the fish I feed enough for him to eat in about 20 seconds daily.. should I change anything here??

Nope, that sounds good to me.
