Yes, is a bristle worm. Likely harmless although with about 8000 different types would be hard to be more specific.
Honestly, it looks like it may be a Chloeia species, though I can't say for sure. Does the worm have little, black, dots or hair-like spikes jutting out from its back near the top of each tuft of bristles?Can anyone ID this worm thing?
Tank has been set up for 6 weeks using live rock from KP aquatics and Tampa Bay saltwater. Saw it for the first time today roaming around the tank.

Not as far as i could tell and it didn't look like any of the images i saw labeled as Chloela I haven't seen it since I took the pictures. When i first spotted it i thought it might be a nudibranch until i got a closer look and realized those were bristles and not cerata.
Yeah, none of the species I've found have looked quite right - the spotting on the back, the numerous visible gills (branchiae), and the unpaired, large tufts of bristles (chaetae) are all pretty unique though.
Anyway, yeah, it's unlikely to cause serious problems in the tank regardless.
