Worm on maxima clam?

What is this? Is it bad? I see a few moving around on the shell. The clam itself is doing great. Just noticed them today.

Its either a spinoid worm or vermetid worm. Either way, place either coral putty or dab of gel super glue over the opening and you'll never see it again
