Worm?? Opinions?

So these candy cane corals have been slowly opening less and less every week or so. This has been growing on the side and is now pressing against the skeleton and flesh of the coral. I was inspecting and saw this coming out of the "shell", "tube thingy".

What is it?
How could I safely remove it from the coral?

Vermetid snail,you need to super glue the top of the snail.
