I've had this guy 2 years that I know of. I've been trying to get a video of his mouth since then. Cucumber or worm?
To my less-trained eye, it looks a lot like a cucumber to me, possibly a tigertail. I've seen pictures of other cucumbers that have branched tentacles around the mouth for feeding that look a lot like those in your video.I've had this guy 2 years that I know of. I've leaned that way for a while about the mouth parts but the size puzzles me. It's 10 inches or better. I've never seen it all. Part is always anchored in a rock. I was hoping you'd see this one. From what I've seen and read I'll take your advice over many geniuses here. I'm a believer that anecdotal evidence fron a 40 year vet is invaluable . Some say it's worthless without a dozen links that are to boring to read. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Using these gulf rocks has been fun. New creatures all the time. Have a good dayIts a sea cucumber
