Hello everyone!

Last night I turned on the white on my ai lrime to look at the pod population and the state of the tank (2 weeks into a fluconazole bryopsis treatment) when 8 noticed something new in the small space between the glass and the edge of the ABS bottom (1/8th ABS for size reference). I initially thought I was looking at a spagetti worm until I notice what appeared to be individual worms in close proximity. They don’t appear to be bristle worms as I can’t see any tufts or anything on them. I seeded my tank with some rubble from my bosses fowlr system so I’m pretty sure they can’t be a threat to corals since he hasn’t had any for years. I would like to know what they are and what to do about them if anything!

Also I took the photos with my iphone and the polyp lab macro lens, I can pull out my dslr and my 150mm macro if the photos aren’t sufficient.

Thanks in advance!

First couple pics look like ribbon worm but im not certain... @KJ
Would that be good or bad? I tried googling marine ribbon worm and found some threads that said some species can get 12 feet long:confused:
They look like detritus worms to me.
That makes sense, I know my boss is pretty lazy and feeds fairly heavy, I’m also at about 2 and half weeks of no water changes for the fluconazole treatment. Are they sinilar to frseshwater planaria in the sense that they’ll get as bad as the tank does and should be kept in check with regular cleaning?

Would they possibly be a supplmental food source to my crab and eventually a geometric perchlet?

I haven't heard of them getting out of control but with anything with a abundance of their food source they can multiply.
