Can't find out this one on the web, got this polyps by friend of me, and day later (it's in QT) I found many of this on it. Also and something reddish between the polyp branches appear there sponge or ?

possibly arminidae, dermatobranckus or neither of those sp. families. you do have very good photos maybe in the morning i can remember what your nudi is and your other ID questions.

p.s. dermatobranchus belongs to arminidae family i think. but my guess still stands as stated above

I'll try later on today to check it under microscope and to make some photos. and you are right, if there are pores to get out the water probably is sponge, but later will see.

#2 possible ID is ophlitaspongia pennata (red encrusting sponge).

I found it at the end, Thank you, it mach the same after you say the name and I google it. So what I read about.., isn't good one (eat some soft corals), and can't put it in the DT to be a CUC. Thank you

Can some one let me know what's the name of this coral ? Got it for free from LFS, and they told me it like shade (no strong light), that's all what I know about, and want to find more info

Also have in the photos (the links from the 1-st post and the prev one)

thanks for some reason i couldnt remeber the exact name other than arminidae, dermatobranchus.

do you see polyps on the final picture. if i remember correctly there is a coral that mimics a sponge and it looks like that. ill search on the web but last i checked its commonly known as a red sponge coral (but not a sponge)

It look like it, really Don't get the name by my LFS (he had this peace for a very long time at the bottom of the DT there)

What to say ...., I don't blame them They bring each day something new there... and much interests, and when not enough QT.., can't keep and threat each one coral separate ...
