I made another thread a while ago after I accidentally tore off a tentacle thinking it was one of my hairs. It just came off the sand, no resistance or pulling, and the original spot has grown into this long stretching mass. The frag it is sitting under is usually very happy, always open, very pigmented, and will open up very quickly if it is irritated. However, it has not opened up in days now, and the worm thing has grown a lot larger. What is it? I was told it could be a spaghetti worm but it does not look like any I’ve seen in pictures - never had one before.

Its a spaghetti worm. You can remove it pretty easily from the frag or from underneath in the sand.

It is a spaghetti worm. I've got dozens if not hundreds of them.

Spaghetti for sure. I have one that took out a weakened stomatella snail

Don’t mind the dirty tank lol bottom middle of pic on the sand. I have a few orange stripe worms that like to pick off weaker things.
