Worm thing on my Barnacles

So I was looking over my tank and I saw THIS BLASTED THING ON MY LIVE BARNACLE CLUSTER so I did a freshwater dip and it came off. What the McFrick is this? Do I need to take any precautions to ensure there’s no more? It was just wigglin’ around between two barnacles so I snatched the barnacles out and shook it in the sweet water and it came off
