Dont have my cell with me atm but will post a pic in a couple hours. Went to a friends tank I take care of. His timers were off, anyway so instead of the lights being on it was dark with moonlights on. I see this worm prob about 10+inches and 1-2 inches in diameter. Grayish with spikes. Never seen anything like this. As soon as I turned on light in room it started to go back into rock, so caught a couple pics before it vanished lol. Any guesses till i get pics up? =)

Greyish?? The only worms ive ever seen in my tank are the Bristle worms.. but there a normal flesh color. Your sure it was a Grey color?

Did it look something like this guy? If so its a Bristle worm and from my experience completely harmess to corals. But my GF picked up a rock a few months back and there was one hiding under it that she put her finger on, and the bristles poked her and she had red bumps on her finger for about 2 weeks+

Yea like that=p But spikes are different..never seen a non red bristle worm or one that big. Here some pics.
