Worm?

Found this growing on my rock today. Any idea what it is? Looks like a worm to me but unsure what it truly is.

It looks like a vermetid, but it could also be a feather duster. I would guess it's hard when you touch it?

Yes! That's exactly what it is! The rock went right into the trash! It was a small piece to be used for attaching a frag in the future.

Thanks again for the quick identification! Found 2 smaller ones after knowing what I was looking for! Hoping I don't find anymore! I have a trio of flame fairy wrasses in my QT that are a few weeks away from making it to my main tank and should help keeping them out of my tank!

Thanks! that's what I did with the smaller ones I found, but didn't know about the super glue. Will keep that in mind for future occurrences! thanks!

superglue should be your best friend!
