Im on board with medusa. Waiting for someone to say spaghetti.
Its medusa. Medusa is safe. Has sticky body and toxic is stressed or injured. Feeds on detritus

As said on ur fb post those antennaes say eunice. I would watch carefully and remove if possible.

Bobit and Eunice same worm different name. Feeds on detritus, but may be predatory on desirable fauna.

Not quite, the bobbit worm is a specific species of eunice that gets several meters long and eats more than just detritus. But there are quite a few other Eunice worms that dont get nearly as long and stay the size of a normal bristleworm. Some might be dangerous to fish and corals, some might not. I would definitely try to put it in the sump atleast though.

Thanks, yea I'll try to catch it again next water change and he'll be going into my sump just in case he turns out to be a predator.
If it gets big I'll consider setting up another tank for it.

I put it in a jar of tank water, but when I came back to it an hour later it had split into 3 pieces.
The part with the head is still alive. The small part was from its middle which seems dead and the tail end is green and seems to be alive also.
Full length was about 7-8 inches!

Found one of these guys in my tank same as op just tiny probably just irritating to coral didn't seem to be eating anything
