Worm?

Saw this in my gsp. Looks like some type of worm, does anyone know what it is?

looks like a bristleworm.. Good guy but some people don't like them because of what they look like.

While the body does look like a bristle worm, ive never see appendages like that coming from the mouth of a standard bristle worm. Maybe someone else can chime in with some more direct info.

Those appendages coming from the mouth lean me more toward the eunicid worm family.

Yeah Its got be puzzled for sure, but I am leaning towards spaghetti as well.

Oh yes, this is a pasketti worm. Much easier to see in these pics.

So are they friend or foe. He's probably been here for 2-3 months and I don't see any dmg on the gsp.

Also a good indicator, is the bad worms for the most part are smart, it would never reveal itself after you removing the gsp and shining a light on it.

That worm could be a syllidae sp. Which is hard to say.. Reef safe? We dont 100% know. But most if them are probably detravores

I mean I saw his tentacles like 3 months ago and my tank seems to still be ok. GSP is doing really good too

Syllidae have very long legs. You have spegetti worms on the rock.
