Hi I’m new to the forum and any forums in general.

I have a 50 gallon tank with clownfish, Midas blenny, various snails and an anemone for over a year.

Ive noticed different things appearing on my aquarium glass. For the past few weeks I’ve had small white dots appearing on the glass. I’ve scraped most of them off and they feel hard. I was thinking they are Spirobid worms.
But recently I found this worm looking thing on the glass.

Any ideas on what either of them are and if they’re related to each other. I’ve seen some pictures of snail eggs and I’d like to say that’s what it is but I wanted to get some advice.

Thanks in advanced.

those look sorta like cerith eggs, …maybe
white dots on the glass are ubiquitous as heck, lots of things possible , if you have nerites: guaranteed…( in a pattern & clustered however) anyway
you just cop a clean up crew somewhere?

I have both those in my tank too! First, those are 100% snail eggs. Not 100% sure on the dots though. I've always thought the white dots were most likely coralline algae starting to take hold. Explains the hardness too. But that's my guess and I'm sure someone has the right answer.
