I'm starting a refugium and I just bought some chaeto from my LFS. Problem is I see worms in it. Is that normal? Never bought chaeto before. Is it safe to put in my system or should I just toss it out? I'm thinking I'll just toss it and order some online. Video attached.

no video. but id watch out using the chaeto if its not clean. whatever is on the chaeto is going to be in your tank.

Yeah not sure why the video isn't uploading. Anyway. Even if it's bristleworms, I don't want that in my tank, right?

Bristle Worms are not a bad thing imo. I had a ton in my tank when it was running, I thought it would be neat to get an arrow crab to eat some but never did.

Indeed they hang out there and i have taken to tongs or gloves when i remove old chaeto
you should too, or be ready for some numb fingers…
