My GPS have been dying off the last few weeks. At first I thought it was an issue with flow, but then I discovered a worm crawling around one of them. This was a few days ago. I removed it from the tank- see below.

It's a brown color with a head to it. Size wise, it is maybe about half an inch.

Earlier today, I saw a much smaller one that was brown/white striped crawling around it.

I think they might be peanut worms, and my issue is flow. But just checking to see if I need to take any action.

hi,don't think peanut ...but possibly acorn worm ?? going by head shape, either or i would dip the gsp,and rinse w tank water before putting back into system ,also mod amount of flow:)

Okay! I'll do a dip today and see if that helps. It's weird because it's growing, but existing areas keep dying off.
