Hey guys so I recently went on vacation and left my my mom in-charged of my tank. It was a week and everything looks pretty normal but I was inspecting my alve today and realized some worms appeared on the skeleton. I’ve had the alve for 4 months now and it’s been growing well. Any thoughts on what this is and how to treat?

Look more like mesenteric fibers to me (coral innards/guts). Think there are a number of things that can cause corals to do this, stress, injury, etc. I would check parameters, maintain good water quality, and keep an eye on it.

This is a feeding response where coral is trying to digest excess nutrients, and use these filaments to obtain food in various forms , or even when nutrients are low and .. . . . even happy coral will display this known as mesentrial filaments

Okay so my no4 isn’t getting posted because I get different results on both
(40ppm on one and 5 on the other)
Alk 10.4
Mag 1380
Phos .17
Calc 440

Also is this dangerous for the coral in any way? And how can I treat this?
