Worms or?

Ivaee these white thing stuck to the sidewall of my refugium and all in my chaeto. What is this? It doesn't move and when I tried to use the tongs to grab a sample it torn in half.

Better than flat worms or something I guess! I'll see what others say. Thanks for the reply.

Kind of look like little pineapple sponges but they normally have a flared opening making them look pineapple shaped. Might not visible with them out of the water, but it could also be another variety.

Some sort of sponge for sure. I get a few of them in my sump too or on some frag plugs that I keep in my sump. They aren't a bad thing, they're just there and probably a sign of a good system.

Ive had a few of those on my chaeto too but orange, it's been a few weeks and nothing has come of it so i'm assuming theyre sponges.

Sweet, I do see the flared opening. Glad it isn't some pest!
