Alright - I‘ve discovered something in my tank recently that looks like tiny little worms. I’ve only had the tank now for about three months and have had a pretty rough week. Since getting started I began with two clowns, introduced a couple of turbo snails, a royal gramma and a blue tuxedo urchin. In the past week I’ve lost the urchin (cause unknown) and now the gramma (possibly didn’t get enough food? Cause again unknown) - which lead to my second partial water change. To say the least I’m sort of putting the production on hold while I try to the bottom of what’s going on, introduce some better quality food for the clowns, etc. etc. back to the worms - what are they?

The worms are called spaghetti worms for their multiple feeder tentacles. They are harmless and eat food waste off the bottom so if you can keep their alien like image out of your head they are great to have.

Not sure what your other issues were either but I think your right to take it slow and give it some time for you to figure out the issue or for it to go away on it's own.

Thanks for your response. I’ve come to conclusion that they are Spaghetti worms after doing a little googling. As long as they aren’t the reason for the recent loss - I am okay with a few bottom feeders.
