What the heck is coming out of this fish? (picture in reply)
BACKGROUND: I bought a couple freshwater mollies about 4 months ago and acclimated them to saltwater. My intent was to use them as canaries for ick, etc. with a wrasse I didn't want to put through copper if I didn't have to. Well...momma was pregnant and I soon had 20+ black mollies in my saltwater QT. This one's one of the second generation (we just had our 4th generation. Thankfully they're getting smaller, only 4 in this batch). Anyway, the first two ended up going through the full Humblefish protocol anyway with copper and AGI GC laced food for intestinal worms and Prazi for exterior parasites. Molly Babies came out fine. The saltwater fish have moved on to my DT and are all healthy and I turned the old QT with the mollies in it into a saltwater planted tank.
Now just this morning I saw this guy...excreting...something creepy. Should I treat for intestinal worms? Should I GC the water, too, since they'll likely all get worms if they are, in fact, worms?
