So after over10 years My tank is full of what I believe is a beneficial bristle worm. They are all over my rock chomping down.I have been doing the same thing all this time. My question is why after this length of time did they decide to come out? Nothing new added ect

The population has grown and they are running out of space.

I used to see my bristle worms all of the time. Got some signal gobies and now I only see a few at night. The predation is keeping them on their toes.

Their population is based on available food. It may be time to blow off rock work and vacuum sand bed if you are worried that they are getting out of hand. Bottle traps baited with frozen shrimp at night work great at reducing numbers
