I have a YWG who has not been eating for the past 2 or so days, and he is flying around the tank in a half circle, letting the waves blow him around. He is also perching on the powerhead, something he has never done. Sometimes after flying around he swims to the bottom of the tank, and lays there in a half circle before flying around again.

I do not think he is being harrassed by his tank mates because all of his tank mates are extremly docile - 2 clownfish babies, 2 PJ cardinals, a diamond goby he is paired with, and a super shy tomini tang.

He does not look sick, but here is a picture of him anyway. @Jay Hemdal @vetteguy53081

another thing I want to add is that he ended his pairing with a pistol shrimp recently, so could he be flying around because he is looking for a new pair, and just doesnt know he's really in a box?

Also, he lets me pet him, I did not want to, but he was in front of the sucking part of my powerhead (reef wave 45) so I tried to scare him away with my hand so he wouldnt get sucked in, and he just let me touch him, and he would have let me pick him up and out of the water I swear. It is very strange behavior.

I do not have a qt tank, but my lfs does this thing where they can take in your sick fish and treat them

These guys like to sift for food in the sand. He isn't looking skinny at all. If that is the current picture, how deep is your sand bed?

does he seem sick? Im very worried about him
No, it's a very normal behavior. As weird as it is, probably even letting you hold him. I had a lawnmower blenny would would swim in my hand and eat all the food I was going to put into the tank. He was the most aggressive eater. Feeding corals was really difficult.

If you see rapid gill movement, I would be very worried. If he can't sit still, like in the picture you have. and is always floating with the water current, I would say he's in trouble.

he moves around sometimes, but he settles down on the ground and stays there for a while
