Had a bad tank issue and lost all my fish. Internal parasite or Brooklyn idk fully so im letting the tank sit low while still maintaining it.
Been having some ofd behavior from nem.
Today she looked like this and im nervous. She has moved out her hole and her foot isnt really on it seems.
Little messy not having fish and a great cuc at the moment but will once the 3 months of sitting low is up.
What is up with me nem?

What are all of your parameters and how long have you had the nem?

Did your lights just come on? To me that looks like it’s inter process of moving or splitting

Might just be on the move. Might not like all the algae. Might be a water quality problem.

One sec i did test the other day
Alages bad cause temhe cuc and fish death
Been having trouble maintaining it

Ahhh i dont wanna put new fish cause the issue afraid a fish will just die.
Im i na weird area of this tank cause i did mess up and didnt qt long enough my fault

Yea the worms have gotten bad any suggestion on what to do for fish or new cuc
I have a few hermits left and my 2 conch snails thats all
All 30 of my corals lived but my nem has been odd

Nothing stands out parameter-wise. Just monitor it closely today and make sure it doesnt detach and start to float around the tank. If it has high flow on it and seems to be detaching, lower the flow for a bit.

Been having an issues with mag but pretty sure it went weird when all the fish died
Other than that i usually keep them stable. Tansk a year old. Alage started when fish died 2 months ago
2021 i was gonna add new fish

I see lots of reasons the nem is unhappy. Not even sure where to start. Getting control of all the nuisance algae and critters needs to happen. That’s a loaded task tho

Im not home right now for another couple hours
Ill ask my roomate to go check in on it

It is in a high power area
Its always chilled there blowing about

So what else, cause ive stated i cant add a fish at the moment.
Alage was fine when i had cuc and my blenny. I do use my fingers to take it off eveey week. It aint perfect im trying.

Sorry I didn’t mean for that to come off like that. It’s an overwhelming site for me. I’m not sure how to manage that large of an outbreak effectively. But as other mentioned a fish would take the worms. You can also make a diy bristle worm trap.

I’m wondering your phosphates and I’m not sure if you answered but if you use rodi and have maintained filters on it?

So just go hard and clean everything of alage like bare clean
I just pluck and scrub it off but i know i spent a few hours i could get it all

Im sorry to all i am stressed. I know the alage is an issue ive tried. Phosphates i haven't check for a while ill have to re do that tbh.

It sucks cause i got a salt so i could have a nem and clownfish relationship
Well my clowns died do to my stupidness and now im worried ill lose the nem cause i tried to lay the tank low and that was probably worst to do.
Just worried ill lose it all in the end. Lotta corals ive hunted.
The tank is also hard to look at now after the lose. Those clowns were my first pair in the tank with the nem.

Keep your head up. This is not a hard fix. It will just take a bit of manual labor. We can probably take care of a good chunk of your bristleworms and 99% of the algae in the same go.
