Seeing how you've only had them for a month I'm extremely doubtful that it is prepping for spawning. One of my clowns does this from time to time, the other 3 pairs never do it. It may just be that she feels comfortable over there. I have had clowns host the weirdest things.

Maybe... I just got really worried, but now I can almost tell she is ok, but trying to do something out of the ordinary... Still will keep an eye on her.. Her mate goes down there sometimes and they hang around together for a while..lol
