Just looking to hear thoughts. I always like adding water to my systems. I currently have a 55g sump which supplies my frag tank and display both independently. A small section in the middle to grow macro. My heaters and dosing is all done there as well.
I came across a 75g I'm looking to swap out my 55 with. I figure it to be a day long project between rebuilding a stand for it, shutting it all down and changing the glass. 75g is the absolute latest size I can put there in every direction. My hope would be to neaten everything up as I go. Also figure I'd be getting rid of 3 years of detritus build up in my old sump all at once but probably a ton of life as well. Like worms etc living in the bottom that I won't be able to transfer.
