So using my trident I have been tracking my daily alk and calcium usage. Basically I use 0.07dkh a day and 2.3ppm of Cal a day. I dont know why my calcium usage is so much higher but the graph isnt as steady as i would like so I wont start autodosing calcium for a while.

My question is it worth it to auto dose for that low level of uptake? I have the DOS and everything already setup I just dont know if its ready. I can always adjust the dose later to suit needs. My tank is full of LPS and SPS so it should be increasing usage here in the near future.

My tank is 75.5g of total volume and I want my Alk to be at 8.0 and ideally I think i want my Calcium a little lower around 450 or so.

With my trident I have a DOS BUT I’ve been manually dosing to take control and verify needs before I go automatic
