Would 82 degrees kill a colony?

Lost a colony of pink lemonade for no apparent reson,everything else is doing fine

It could if it was already in a weakened state, but it probably was something else. I've had my SPS tank get to 85F when I forgot to turn my AC on at home, everything was just fine.
