I recently purchased a new tank and stand and after looking at the stand a little more I have a few concerns as far as the structure. Do you guys think itll be structurally sound or should I build a new one?

I am concerned about the corrosion and that is seems to be thicker than the wall of the square channel. Also, it seems a little bowed but not sure if it just looks that way because it's in the truck.

Hi. I think the bow is the truck. I would recommend that you check the welds at each joint. It will need work, specifically to treat the rusting with an inhibitor and I would paint with Rustoleum. The stand looks solid. It will be a lot of manual work but not as much as a DIY stand will be, unless you like the projects.

If that's the worst of it, it will be fine.
Take it somewhere and have it sandblasted and powder coated.
or
Take a sander to it. Use a rust inhibiting primer and then paint it.
