I'm looking at getting a led set up for my 75. I want to know if this would work and If you have this light on a 75 can you please post pictures? Or does anyone recommend any other lighting? No diy and don't want to hang anything would perfer a rail system. Would like to stay around $300 or less

That would work perfectly fine and grow anything that you want. Make sure you start off with the light turned down low as they are very powerful.

Would it be fine using the rail mounts or do I have to hang it higher the the sides get better light?

The mounts would be fine. I would hang it higher if you can though. They are surprisingly bright. If you search around you can find PAR readings on them.

Hang them if you can. I had reefbreeder photon 32 on a 4ft tank with mounting legs and the edges were not getting adequate lighting. I upgraded to the 48" and couldn't be happier.

if you dont want shadows in the corners i would get another light, but if you want to keep it under 300 check out mars auqa or better known as Chinese boxes. they are $100 each you can find them on amazon. you can get 2 of them and it will be great for your tank, and be able to grow sps on a budget. hope this was helpful

2 of the 16" would be better IMO. The 32" would work, but you would get shadowing on the sides and where the brace is (assuming there is a brace).

Even if I had them a foot above the water?

This. +1 You'll be happier. MUCH better coverage.
