Would these be OK together in QT?

Im thinking about using my LA gift card while they’re running they’re $25 back sale. Would these fish be OK together in QT and the DT?

I have the purple fire fish and white belly Wrasse in my qt right now. the fire fish needed some smaller pvc elbows 1/2” as it prefers to hide all day

I could be wrong but, I'm not aware of any difference between plastic or glass when it comes to copper absorption.

You can put sand in a glass pyrex bowl. There should be minimal absorption from that if meds are needed.

Ya I don't think plastic absorbs anything, otherwise people wouldn't be using pvc for hides. @Humblefish lmk if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I would think the sand would be a 10 fold bigger factor than the bowl, regardless of composition.

I use TTM for sand dwelling wrasses so it's not a factor for me. I would think it might make maintaining copper levels a little tricky and of course the sand should be discarded after use. For prazi/General Cure (which is the only thing I usually use with the sand present) it's not really a factor.

Okay cool that’s a pro tip with the prazi and the sand! Thank you. I do plan on throwing the sand out after copper. I’m still in the middle of that so I hadn’t thought into the prazi step yet other then to treat twice between 5-7 days I think
