Hey guys long time aquarium keeper, new to saltwater and reefing. I am contemplating starting up a 29 gallon in the next month or so, but I am worried as to what lighting to use. I have found this kit on rapid led, I am good with my hands so I know I could build it, but will it be enough light for my tank if I eventually decide to keep some sps or lps? Thanks guys!

Yes, definitely enough light but would always recommend on going with a dimmable version to better acclimate corals to and find a final intensity with.

Cheers, Todd

I wouldn't even consider any led fixture that isn't dimmable... especially if I'm buying new.

Yeah, there is a dimmable version for 160$, so that's probably what I am going to get.
